some functionality can indeed be implemented in iphone directly -- some other requires middleware/controller. For the simplest cases a dumb relay will do. |

Really depends what you're doing, just IR integration with iphone or something that requires high availability or management software. |

We haven't fixed any controller requirements yet (it is driven by the panel and integration software requirements) so the controller at first stages will be a dumb relay since nothing more is required. |

The middleware there so far is a bit of a doodling to find out what is required as a minimum hardware to run the whole Java stack. Not going to be hugely relevant for first releases. |
