116 miles Saturday, around 30C, the Pine Barens of S. Jersey were nice and warm though a bit windy. Sunday more wind, around 19C. A bit chilly. |

On a different subject, I guess I've gotta figure out Drools. |

Might not be a bad thing as the actual drools code might give me a pointer for the scripting stuff. |

re: the scripting stuff |

|
1) realization that the object level scripting some were calling for requires an object model to back it up |
| 2009-05-11 |
08:58:43 AM |
*juha* |
|
2) realization that trying to enforce any particular object model by the middleware does not make sense at this point |
| 2009-05-11 |
08:59:09 AM |
*juha* |
|
3) therefore the ORB should enable *arbitrary* object models to be used and deployed |
| 2009-05-11 |
08:59:35 AM |
*juha* |
|
4) out of these commonly used object models should emerge |
| 2009-05-11 |
09:00:26 AM |
*juha* |
|
5) the common object models can facilitated by Beehive hosting mappings from object API to various command links |
| 2009-05-11 |
09:01:36 AM |
*juha* |
|
6) therefore object model becomes an effort driven by community users (who are the ones with all the device API and topology), much like recording commands is today |

and we support that effort |

Gartner prediction on Android puts it at 8M units sold by end of year (currently at 1M units sold). |

Apple sold 14M units last year. |
