Building OpenRemote iPad 2.0 Console
The OpenRemote iPad code branch has not yet been integrated to main release branches. It will be included with the OpenRemote 2.0 release. For now it is intended as a developer early access. Usage instructions and support are limited until merge to release branch has been completed.
As with other Apple products, a Mac OS X computer and Xcode is required to build the iPad release. No other toolchains are supported.
OpenRemote iPad 2.0 in Subversion
OpenRemote iPad 2.0 is available for developers as a subversion checkout. The code branch is here: /branches/project/iPad_Console_2_0_0_Alphas.
This branch has been ported to iOS 3.2 which works on iPad. It correctly adjusts to the larger screen size of iPad tablet. Load the included Xcode project file to get started.
So far no iPad specific APIs are used (new UI widgets, etc.). Therefore this branch also works on iPhone.
