Hi there,

as i seem im new here.

Ive been reading about functionality and iPhone app for automation and so; i have a clear idea about how do u manage knx instalations using knx-ip gateways, but my question is, what kind of hardware do you use to send IR codes?

Thanks in advance!

Yes both IRTrans and Global Cache are good solutions to interface from IP network to infrared. With IRtrans you can use the LIRC codes directly from OpenRemote Beehive, for GlobalCache you should also get the IR receiver to record your IR remotes.
